The SL3 will be avaialble soon in 12 and 20 gauges, 28″ or 30″ barrels and 3 different engraving patterns (Floral Deep Relief Scroll, Game Scene, & Fine English Scroll).  The SL3 combines some of the best features of all Beretta models into one.  It features the leaf springs of the DT-11 and SO10 for a faster crisper feeling trigger, the boxlock system based off of the SO10 with 3 locking points, newly designed ejectors for ease of use and reliability, Optima HP bore  barrels and chokes, finely figured Grade 4 wood, and a custom designed Beretta case.

Two-piece checkered walnut stocks with splinter forends, capped pistol grips, straight combs, inlaid initial plate in the belly, and ventilated brown rubber Pachmayr recoil pad There are a few light nicks, scuffs, and scratches on the stocks. There are no chips or cracks on the surface. In the handling regions, there is some thinning of the finish. The checkering varies in appearance from fairly defined to virtually worn smooth, with distinct lines. From the fronts of the triggers to the back of the pad, the LOP measures 14 1/4″ and 13 3/8″ respectively, as well as 13 1/4″ and 12 3/8″ to the back of the wood. The pad is a little worn around the edges, but it’s still rather soft. The drop at the comb is around 1 3/4″, while the drop at the heel is about 2 3/4″. I am a fan of the cast.
