The Scorpion Evo 3 is a blowback-operated carbine that was designed by Laugo from a Slovak prototype submachine gun. [1][2] The Scorpion EVO 3 is a lightweight, small submachine gun designed to be readily handled in restricted situations. It is chambered in 919mm Parabellum and is primarily made of polymer. The A1 model has a typical left-side non-reciprocating charging handle, however it can be moved from side to side and is ambidextrous. Additionally, it has an ambidextrous choose fire switch, unlike the S1’s switch only offers “safe” and semi-automatic firing. This switch allows the user to choose between “safe”, semi-automatic, three-round burst, or fully automatic fire.
